Go EveryWear Pouch: The Baby Carrier, Belt, Stroller, and Shoulder Bag.

This pouch pattern is designed to go everywhere with you. Use on the waist belt of your baby carrier, the straps of your baby carrier, your belt, your stroller, your shoulder, or cross-body. The adjustable belt loops on this pouch allow it to be worn in so many ways and places. It fits on the waist belt of all the major baby carrier brands. In addition, you can choose to add D rings to the belt loops and make two short straps to hang it from your carrier’s shoulder straps or make a long strap which to turn it into a shoulder or small cross-body bag.

This file includes pattern pieces, instructions, and a photo tutorial. You can choose a Flap Top or Zipper Top closure and additional pockets. This pattern is available in 3 sizes. Any can be used on your babycarrier, stroller, belt, or on your shoulder/cross-body as a bag. The large size is also great as a cross-body messenger bag or shoulder tote.

A pouch with belt loops on the center back can be uncomfortable some some people, as the pouch may poke your hip, belly, or both. This pouch has adjustable belt loops, which allow the pouch to hang down for you comfort. Smaller babywearers may only have a small amount of waist belt webbing exposed, so these belt loops are also long enough to go over the padded section of the waist belt, which is also great for anyone using a front-carry babycarrier.

Can’t decide which kind of belt loops you want? You don’t have to! Just place the snaps as recommended in the pattern and all options are built right in.

You can be as creative with this pattern as you desire: use different fabrics inside and out: add trim or embroidery; go off pattern and add interior pockets or dividers; make it out of PUL or Nylon for a water resistant “Wet Bag”. The possibilities are endless!
