Happy Baby Bib for Revolution Carrier – Sewing Pattern

$5.00

Description

The bib sewing pattern is designed to protect your carrier and keep the top edge free from drool and stains. It is particularly useful if your child is part owl (turning their head very far around). I also love to make them out of seasonal fabric so my carrier matches the occasion.

This pattern includes 2 versions so it fits  the Happy Baby Revolutions carrier before and after the Spring 2022 changes. There is also a different style bib pattern that fits the earlier revolution.

A Few Notes From The Ninja:
Pair the bib with a set of straight or corner suck/drool pads to protect your straps as well. The straight suck pad pattern is available for free.
This pattern is reversible! So even though I call the two layers “Outside” and “Lining”, they are more like “Side 1” and “Side 2”.

Pick two outside fabric and one layer of Absorbent material like flannel or Zorb to keep your carrier dry.

Got a super drooler? You can also choose to use PUL or other waterproof fabric inside or as the backing, for ultimate carrier protection.

What about the sleeping hood, can I still get to it with the bib on? Yes, if you choose the hood access slit. When you cut the bib back, just make sure you are cutting on the lines matching the style you want. Each line tells you what it is for and has the right amount of fabric for the job.

Be as creative with this pattern as you desire: add trim or embroidery, go off pattern and add pockets, or make it out of holiday fabrics. The possibilities are endless!
