This Corner Suck Pad has 2 sections that fit into and around the corner area. With just 2 pieces they are quicker to make than traditional corner pads and still give great protection. They are designed fit just under the headrest buckles of the Lillebaby. Tula users may find them taller than expected, but great for taller kids.

Tutorial includes step-by-step instructions and many photos. Most test sewers rate this as an easy to advanced beginner pattern.

#1015 Ninja Droolers: 2-Piece Corner Suck Pads for Standard Width Straps Fits the following carriers.

  • Lillebaby
  • Tula (not explore)
  • Boba
  • Happy Baby Made before Gen 2, Spring 2022. Use narrow suck pads for HB carriers made after that.
  • Ergo Adapt
  • Beco 3G & 4G
  • many more.

Protecting your straps from baby drool lessens the need for frequent washing and protects your straps from discoloration.

In general corner pads are particularly good for those babies that are on the smaller size for their carrier as that corner region is at prime chewing height. If you use corner pads with the Lillebaby headrest up, you can scrunch them up, fold the corner area over, or slide them up the strap. You can see pictures of this below.
