Description
Protecting your straps from baby drool lessens the need for frequent washing and protects your straps from discoloration. Most test sewers rate this as an easy to confident beginner pattern.
The Corner Suck Pad has two sections that fit into and around the corner area between the carrier and the strap. With just two pattern pieces they are quicker to make than traditional 3-piece corner pads and still give great protection. They are designed to be rather tall, but that is great for taller kids. You can easily cut them shorter, if desired.
In general corner pads are particularly good for those babies who turn their heads a lot or are a shorter as that corner region is at prime chewing height. If you use corner pads with the Ergo headrest up, just slide the drool pads up the straps.
Patterns are hand drafted and then digitized. Lines are clean and crisp, with clear professional markings and a symbol key. Printable on 8.5″ x 11″ or A4 paper. Patterns have 1/2″ and 1 cm (3/8″) seam allowance options. Pattern Tutorial includes step-by-step instructions and many photos. This pattern also includes SVG files for machine cutting.
