I’m so excited to share with you this Maple Leaf quilting pattern, a new addition to the Fabric Ninja Freebie Library. The maple leaf pattern is not new to the quilting world, but I’ve modernized it a bit with 4 colors ways, 3 sizes, pillow or mini quilt options, and SVG cutting files for your Cricut or other cutting machine. Choose from: Finished Sizes: Three options: 5”, 12”, and 15”.

You can pick any of the four color variations or make them all! My favorite the orange red and burgundy/purple. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a leaf that color, but it just really feels like fall.  I choose to make a quilted pillow cover with the envelope back, but you can also bind it into a mini-quilt, or make multiple leaves and put them together into a table runner. Can you imagine them on your Thanksgiving table under the pumpkin pie and turkey?

This pattern is available for free in the Fabric Ninja Sewing Resource Library, also called the Freebie Library. It come with PDF pattern that can be printed and cut with, it has a cut chart, for those who like to use a rotary cutter. It also comes with SVG files for Cricut and other cutting machines, like Silhouette and Brother Scan and Cut.

Not sure about Cricut Quilting? Take a look at my Cricut Quilting 101 course. Although I focus on Cricut Maker and Explore series machines, the information is still useable by other cutting machine users.
